liberate your

authentic self

in-person & virtual somatic therapy in Fresno, California

Feel more at home in your body.

holistic & somatic psychotherapy

You can understand so much about yourself and still feel disconnected.
You may recognize your patterns and have reflected or processed experiences in therapy, but still second-guess your decisions, push aside your needs, repeat cycles, or feel stuck.

Healing often involves going beyond what we understand in our minds and reconnecting with the parts of ourselves we've learned to overlook—our bodies, emotions, intuition, needs, and inner wisdom. As a holistic therapist, I see all of these parts as interconnected.

My approach honors your identity, culture, relationships, spirituality, and the experiences that have shaped you. It's not about becoming someone different. It's about uncovering more of who you already are and living out that truth.

pathways to deeper healing

BRAINSPOTTING

Brainspotting offers another way to work with experiences that feel stuck or difficult to put into words. It incorporates your visual field and your body's responses to help you explore what may be happening beneath the surface.

Somatic Experiencing®

Somatic Experiencing® brings greater awareness to the relationship between your experiences and your body. It can be especially meaningful when you understand what you're experiencing intellectually but still find yourself reacting in ways you can't quite explain.

somatic psychotherapy for

stress and burnout

Chronic stress and burnout can affect far more than your energy. You may feel constantly overwhelmed, mentally foggy, irritable, emotionally drained, or disconnected from the things that used to matter to you. Even when you have time to rest, you may find that you never quite feel rested.

If you’ve spent a long time pushing through, taking care of others, or putting your own needs aside, it can be difficult to recognize when you’ve reached your limit. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck in that cycle and help you better understand what your mind and body need before exhaustion takes over.

childhood trauma

What happened in childhood can shape how you see yourself, relate to others, and respond to stress as an adult. This may show up as intense emotional reactions, self-doubt, low self-esteem, or difficulties with relationships and setting boundaries. Sometimes, you know where these patterns come from but still struggle to change them. We’ll gently examine these experiences and attune to what your body needs to heal.

cultural concerns

For many immigrants and children of immigrants, family, culture, and identity can shape how you see yourself and the choices you make. You may feel caught between generations, torn between your own wants and what your family expects, or unsure how to honor where you come from while creating a life that feels right for you. These tensions can affect your relationships, sense of identity, and ability to make choices without guilt.

There can be room for both: staying connected to the people, culture, traditions, and values that matter to you while making space for your own needs, desires, and sense of who you are.

Women of Color

We carry a lot as a Woman of Color. Cultural and family expectations. The pressure to succeed. Experiences of racism, sexism, or xenophobia. The feeling that you have to change or hide parts of yourself depending on where you are and who you're with. Therapy gives you room to talk about these experiences without having to explain or minimize them. We can explore the parts of yourself you've had to set aside, the expectations you’re carrying, and what it means to create a life that feels like your own, while still honoring the people, cultures, and communities that matter to you.

relationships

Relationships can bring out patterns you may not even realize you’re repeating. You might find yourself putting other people’s needs first, avoiding conflict, struggling to set boundaries, or losing touch with what you actually want. Over time, it can be hard to know where your needs end, and someone else’s begin.

You can have meaningful, deep relationships without abandoning yourself in the process. I’ll help you understand these patterns, identify what you need, and explore ways to maintain your sense of self within relationships.

mind-body connection

When you’re used to getting things done and caring for others, you may have difficulty identifying your needs or emotions. You might only notice you’re overwhelmed after you’ve reached your limit, or make decisions based on others’ expectations. This can leave you feeling disconnected from your body, emotions, and intuition. In somatic psychotherapy, I’ll help you learn to tune in, listen, and be fully present in your body.

identity and self-discovery

You may have spent so much time being who other people needed you to be that you’ve lost track of what you actually want. Maybe you’re used to making decisions based on what makes sense, what’s expected of you, or what will keep everyone else happy. Now you’re wondering what you would choose if you weren’t constantly thinking about everyone else.

This can be a chance to figure that out. I’ll help you find your voice and explore what you want your life and relationships to look like now.

While each person is on their own unique healing path, somatic therapy can help you:
